Not So Recent Events Presentation Day 2005On Sunday 22nd May, we held our Presentation day on a showery day at Topsham School, The Awards were presented by Exeter City Players Scott Hiley and Glen Cronin. A successful day was had and a good turn out of Parents and Players braved the rain, Glen Cronin & Scott Hiley with the u/12s 2004-05
The inflatable pitch made its return and was busy as always, along side two mini pitches which also got good use, There was also a refreshments stall and Bar-b-que and a good draw was run, at this point the Committee would like to thank all the parents who helped through out the event manning stalls and selling tickets. The awards ceremony was the highlight and given the fact that Scott Hiley and Glen Cronin were presenting them, made it special for all concerned. The fact that both players waited afterwards to pose for photos and signed shirts and autographs was a really nice touch from them, Central would like to thank both Players for their time and support. AGM 2005The Clubs AGM was held at the Coaver Club on Thursday 26th May at 8pm, there was a couple of rule changes which will come into effect next Season, The main rule change, was in fact a change to the cost of the Club Registration fee, it was decided to increase this from £6 to £8 for this coming season, this was to allow for a quarterly Newsletter that will be sent direct to the players and not handed out by Coaches. Another change was to the Club's Registration form,this is an important addition, now that the Club have a Website and Newsletter we must get the approval of the Parents for images or names of Players to appear on either the Web site or Newsletter, please note that Names and Images will not appear together, All Parents will be able to refuse to have Names or Images published as per the Clubs Child Protection Policy, just notify the Club Secretary, who can be contacted via this Web site or through any of the Coaches.
