AGM 2007

This years AGM decided a few things that will affect Central parents and players

  • A new Secretary was appointed - Steve McShane has taken over from long serving Alan Sweet
  • New Charges were decided - Registration is now £10.00 per annum and weekly match/training fees £2.00 per week
  • A constitution change was approved that effectively allows players names to be attached to their photos both on this website and in the press
  • A constitution change was approved that clarified the security on photos being taken of our children whilst they train/play matches

Presentation Event 2007

Once again this took place at Topsham School and Chairman Nigel organised that the 24 hour downpour that preceded the event finished 2 hours before the start.

Martin Rice presented the prizes (at the time he was looking forward to playing for Exeter at Wembley but unfortunately that was not to be) and Central is very grateful for his presence and the extra time he spent with the boys (and parents). See the trophy page to see who won what.

Martin took the time to have his photo taken with some of our players:

After the presentation the bouncy football pitch and Samba goals were well used by the boys and the adults watched Nigel do the draw - how did his mother-in-law win all the alcoholic prizes?

Thanks goes to Nigel and his helpers for organising another fun day.

Wembley with Exeter City 2007

The week after the Presentation Event many Central parents and players had a day out at the new Wembley and, although the result was poor, it was still a great day - here are some photos and if you would like to add some of your own please contact Shaun.
